Hobart – Regional Performing Arts Company kicks off their second season bringing to life characters from the beloved fairytale, the Princess and the Pea, in their production of “Once Upon A Mattress.” This hilarious musical retelling of the classic tale gives upward of two dozen young actors and actresses the chance to shine on stage–all while answering the question “What really kept the princess awake that night?”
Four shows will be presented at the Hobart High School Auditorium: September 14, 15, 21, and 22 at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $7 with open seating–children under 5 are free. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting tix.regionalperformingarts.org or calling 1-800-838-3006 and selecting extension 1.
On September 22, RPAC will present an afternoon “Princess and the Tea” character event for children and their families in the Hobart High School Great Hall. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. and admission includes tea-time snacks as well as meet-and-greet with the cast of characters.
