Introducing Three New Classes to Take Your Performance to the Next Level!

Classes run Thursdays from April 3 to May 29.

At Regional Performing Arts, we know that movement is a huge part of commanding the stage. Whether you’re dancing in a full-scale musical or just learning how to move with confidence, we have two brand-new dance classes designed to help young performers take their skills to the next level!

Take the Stage

Instructor: Lauren Milligan (Makarauskas)
Schedule: Thursdays, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Ages: 6-10
Tuition: $125 ($100 for current/returning members)

For our younger performers, Take the Stage is the perfect introduction to movement in musical theater. This class is designed for elementary-age students who are new to dance or still building confidence in their movement. Students will learn how to follow basic choreography, practice simple stage combinations, and get comfortable moving as a group. This is a great class for young actors who want to feel more at ease on stage while having fun with movement in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Fierce & Fearless

Instructor: Lauren Milligan (Makarauskas)
Schedule: Thursdays, 6:45 PM – 7:45 PM
Ages: 11-18
Tuition: $125 ($100 for current/returning members)

Are you ready to own the stage? Fierce & Fearless is a high-energy choreography class focused on the parts of dance the audience notices most—bold arm movements, expressive performance, and confident stage presence. Blending contemporary and modern theater styles, this class is designed to help performers step out of their comfort zones and bring their movements to life. Through powerful choreography and engaging exercises, students will learn how to make every move count. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or just looking to improve your performance skills, this class will challenge and inspire you to dance bigger, bolder, and stronger!

Backstage Pass: Foundations of Theater Technology

Instructors: Katelyn and Benjamin Leonard-White
Schedule: Thursdays, 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Ages: 12–18
Tuition: $125 ($100 for current/returning members)

Dive into the dynamic world of theater production with our Backstage Pass: Foundations of Theater Technology course! Designed for students aged 12–18, this hands-on class offers a comprehensive introduction to the technical aspects that bring a performance to life. Participants will gain practical experience with industry-standard tools such as the Behringer sound board and Sennheiser wireless microphones, learning how to balance and enhance live sound for theatrical productions. Additionally, students will develop foundational skills in ETC’s EOS operating system, working with various lighting fixtures to create mood, focus, and atmosphere on stage. This Thursday evening class is perfect for aspiring theater technicians eager to understand the intricacies of backstage work and contribute to the magic of live performances.
