Portage – Regional Performing Arts Company, a local non-profit committed to promoting youth performance in the Region, announces open auditions for their June production of “Alice in Wonderland.” This short musical by Charles Turner brings the beloved characters of Lewis Carroll to life on the stage.
Casting requires a minimum of twenty-one actors, and all actors must be between the ages of nine and eighteen. The seventy-five minute show features strong actors with many vocal selections for students to shine. When preparing for an audition, students should be prepared to sing, cold-read, and participate in a small movement/dance selection.
Auditions are being held April 3, 2018 at Portage High School West Auditorium, Door G, 6450 US Hwy 6, Portage. They begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at roughly 8:00 p.m. but students may be dismissed early or kept late.
