Actors do not need to pay any fees to audition\, and not everyone who auditions may be cast (depending on a number of factors.) Character descriptions are listed based upon gender and age that is presented on stage\, not the gender or age of those auditioning. There are nominal fees for participating in this show if cast. Regional Performing Arts prides itself on creating a safe and creative space for students of all ages and experience levels while maintaining a high level of artistic excellence. Regional serves as one of the leading 501(c)3 organizations dedicated to producing solely youth theater in our arts community. \nAudition spots are 30 minutes for a group up to 10. Each actor should prepare a short vocal solo that showcases their range\, and come in comfortable clothing prepared to dance. There will be no cold reading at this audition. DESCRIPTION:RPAC is proud to offer a summer theatre camp for students of varied ages during the summer months. Class offerings include acting and stagecraft of many different types. \nFor complete information and registration\, visit https://regionalperformingarts.org/summer-camp/ \nJune 20 – August 4\, 2023\n(no camp the week of July 4)\nTuesdays & Thursdays\nMusical Theater 1-3 \nEach class will focus on a different aspect of theater with a different outcome at the end of the camp. Musical Theater will focus on auditioning\, casting\, and performing in a musical production (Press Start.) None of these classes require previous experience and are intended to help teach\, nurture and grow young actors in the region. \nCamp class tuition is $175 and includes an average 12 hours of camping goodness\, materials\, a camp tee shirt\, and participation in our productions which are free for family and friends to attend. Siblings and dual-enrollments (students participating in more than one section) receive a $25 discount.
